Riders Hut

The riders hut was pretty much true to label except the fact that there is no insulation which turns it into an ice box when the heater burns out because the damper does not work. The airconditioning is some weird little heaters which blow some hot air but when you have 3 of them on the circuit breaker flick out. The kitchen table is really high and when it is out from the wall you can't fit in the kitchen. The toilet is right beside the kitchen which is wrong in too many ways to describe. The Hot water was fine, although the shower blocked up while we were there and we had to unblock a very messy drain filter. The beds were comfortable and the dooners were warm which was especially good since the fire does only roaring hot or out. I think there are some better places to stay in Derby, at least this is cheap. Did I mention that it is very small.
